I booked a ride to Paris CDG 20 hours in advance. I was provided an email confirmation with a price that was fixed at 75 Euros. This was last night.... read more An hour before the pickup time, the company messaged me to say that the price had gone up to 95 Euros. And then 20 minutes before the pickup time, they messaged me to say they couldn't get me a ride.
For a company offering airport transfers, I am shocked at this totally unprofessional, irresponsible, unethical and unreliable behaviour.
Booking online was easy. The driver was waiting for us with a sign when we came out of baggage claim which was great. He was very pleasant but did not... read more speak any English. You pay for both transfers upfront in Euros which was slightly uncomfortable. Confirming the return transfer was a real problem because no one we reached on the several numbers we called spoke English either. My booking sheet listed one pick up time, we gathered after trying to use iTranslate, that we would be picked up earlier, then en route to the airport we got a message that a driver was at our apartment to pick us up. Apparently two drivers were sent. The company needs to use a translation app, device in the cars or some method to communicate. Even a paper form/receipt could work.
